Tell us a little about yourself and how you got into the beauty industry
I'm Lauren, the face behind Pretty You Aesthetics. I've been in the aesthetics industry for over 6 years and recently expanded into Lip Blush. I love helping my clients feel confident and sexy again.
Why did you decide to train in SPMU?
Being in aesthetics for 6 years, a lot of my clients came to the point where they didn't need more lip filler they needed colour, defining and shaping and that's where lip blush came in.
What is your favourite part of your job?
Seeing my clients reactions to their new lips and instantly getting a confidence boost.
What’s been your proudest moment of your career so far?
I'd say becoming an educator and now being recognised as the Tech of the Month when there's so many amazing artists in the industry
What’s your favourite procedure to perform and why?
Definitely Ombre blush. I love creating sharp borders that blend perfectly.
What is your favourite Cosmedic Supplies product?
ooo that's a hard one, i'd say Shayk by Face Pigments, Old Castle by Brovi and Napa Valley by World Famous
Where do you see yourself in 5 years’ time?
Teaching other artists to create stunning lips and to continue building a brand that stands out to the world.
